Bucks have three players participating in this year’s Yonex All-England Badminton Championships, Sean Vendy, Callum Hemming and Steven Stallwood.
Sean Vendy teams up with his regular partner Ben Lane (Devon) as England’s no 1 pair in the mens doubles. In the first round they will face Malaysia’s Tan Kian Meng and Tan Wee Kiong. A victory there lines them up to meet, Japanese third seeds Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi.
Bucks boys Callum Hemming and Steven Stallwood are up against the No 8 seeds, also from Malaysia, Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi.
Callum will also be in action in the mixed doubles partnered by Jess Pugh from Kent. Oddly he will again take on Ong Yew Sin this time playing with Goh Liu Ying.
