You may have recently seen the launch of Badminton England’s ‘Badminton Homes for Ukraine’ initiative. As a County, we have pledged our support to help families forced to flee their homes in anyway we can. We are now calling on the Bucks badminton community to join us and #StandwithUkraine.
Our request is for potential sponsors who can offer refuge and a home for families forced to flee their homes. Through the Government’s ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme sponsors who can offer accommodation for at least 6 months will receive a l ‘thank you’ payment of £350 per month*

A member of the Badminton Bucks committee will be able to answer any questions you may have and discuss expectations further. Once support is confirmed, they will also help to try and match you with a family from the Ukrainian Badminton Federation community.

(*This ‘thank you’ payment is optional and limited to one payment per residential address. Payments will be received for the length of sponsorship up to 12 months. Payments will be made in arrears. Prior to payment, eligibility checks will be carried out which will include a visit to your home.)
