Badminton Bucks Masters are looking for more players! – are you one of them?

With the Senior County team showing the way with a wonderful Premiership win this year, now couldn’t be a better time to get involved in Badminton Bucks Masters! We welcome keen players over the age of 38 to get in touch with us.

We hope to enter teams in all available age groups, if we get enough players interested:

Over 40’s (which start at age 38, as there are a low number of players in this age group), Over 45’s, Over 50’s, Over 55’s, Over 60’s, Over 65’s, Over 70’s, Over 75’s.

The groups are 5-year increments, which also means you can be sub for another age group, should the captain fall short of a player for certain games.

The season runs October to March, and we play each County twice; an Away game (in their County) and a Home game (High Wycombe/MK). There tend to be 4 Counties in each division.

It’s all about team play and having fun, while we engross ourselves in competitive games with great people from other Counties. Afterwards we socialise and have drinks and a bite to eat.

Being part of the Badminton Bucks County team does involve some travelling, and car share is highly encouraged.

We would love to have more teams playing in the Masters divisions, where players above aged 38 can take part in great games in the league as well as have access to the annual ICC tournament, where we play other Counties the whole weekend and have a party on the Saturday night.

We plan to invite players for pre-season training sessions, so we all meet before the season starts in October.
