Badminton Bucks are supporting the Badminton England initiative to help Ukrainian families that are part of the Ukrainian badminton community and who have been forced to flee their homes as a consequence of the ongoing situation in that country.
This is a part of the Government’s ‘homes for Ukraine’ strategy and so anyone able to offer accommodation for a Ukrainian family for a minimum of 6 months will qualify for ‘thank you’ payment of £350/month
We have just been notified of one family of three (a mother, her 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter) hoping to relocate to the UK. The children are both high level badminton players and the mother is a professional woman with a degree in finance who was, until recently, working as a finance manager in an IT company.
